The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner
With Bentley's 100th anniversary looming next year and the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition of Mulsanne. It is a tribute to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley and includes a piece of one of his automobiles.
The special model can be purchased with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by a 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. used as his personal car. The influence of this car can be seen in the cabin. For instance the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet has an exhibit that has a part of the 8 Litre crankshaft displaying inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in the shape of a B-shaped air vent on the chrome appliqué that runs along the back side of the vehicle. The front grille is modeled after 1930s-appropriate Onyx and there's also an optional chrome application around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille is unique, featuring a chrome shell instead of the usual body-colored mesh, which is typical of the regular Mulsanne and featuring the Flying B logo as well.
The key box is embossed with Bentley wings and comes with a black flock lining. Key pouches can be purchased to match or contrast the key box. The commemorative set also includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and flying paperweight, plus an unpublished brochure with never-before-seen photos of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
